We've been busy at Boxmania this week.  We are experimenting with different embossing powders.  I think we've got some winners here.

Fun with the Place Cards for the Turkey Boxes

For my sister's Thanksgiving table, I made the Turkey Gift Boxes embossed in Egyptian Gold.  The photos here do not show their real beauty.  They are gorgeous.  Because I know who will be seated at her table, I made the place cards for each box.  Then I decided to have some fun.

I found some funny Thanksgiving sayings online and I typed them on each card.

 "Can a turkey jump higher than the Empire State Building?"  These will make for a few laughs around the dinner table

You simply slip the place card under the lid of each box, concealing the funny sayings.

Then at the appropriate time my sister can tell everyone to put out there place card and read aloud at the table.  What a great idea!

Welcome to Boxmania

Welcome to Boxmania.  Many of you may remember my previous blog, Welcome to Crest Avenue.  I had such fun writing for that blog.  It was there that I started Boxmania.  And so now we have put all of our energies into a new blog designed specifically for our beautiful little embossed boxes.

To start with, here is our Egyptian Gold Embossed Turkey box.

This embossed design sparkles with every color in the rainbow when the light hits it just right.  How beautiful these are on the Thanksgiving table place on the dinner plate with a place card with each guests name.  Or on the bread plate.  Each box comes with tissue filling, so you may provide whatever little goody you desire for your guests.
